Hoboken is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Hoboken is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Looked for a date night spot on Instagram and this came up. Went on a Sunday evening. There were maybe 3 tables inside and 2 or 3 more outside with people. Service was ehhh. The server was nice but it took a while to be acknowledged and for our drink order to be taken. Food was meh. Ordered the escargo, a pizza, the seafood paella, and a few drinks. The paella was really more like a risotto, as it was dripping wet. Not a fave. The escargot and pizza were just ok. Nothing was a wow. The table was attended constantly by other staff, and we asked for the check from the gentleman that cleared our table. Cut to 8 minutes later, as we watched our server take checks to multiple other tables, we figured that he didn't tell her. So we flagged her down and finally got the bill. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, however, nothing really stood out that makes me want to come back.

I recently hosted my daughter's bridal shower at La Boheme in Hoboken, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Just before the shower was about to begin, torrential rain hit Hoboken, and the streets began flooding almost immediately. Despite the chaos, Nelson went above and beyond, helping our guests find places to park and safely make their way into the restaurant. His kindness, calm demeanor, and willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier for everyone. The entire staff was exceptional—warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the event. They made us feel completely taken care of from beginning to end. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every course, from the appetizers to the entrées to the desserts, was beautifully prepared and delicious. Our guests are still talking about how incredible everything tasted. Most importantly, everyone had a wonderful time. So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful and memorable bridal shower it was, and La Boheme played a huge part in making that happen. A heartfelt thank you to Nelson and the entire team for helping make such an important day so special. I would recommend La Boheme wi

Perfect spot a warm night. Staff was accommodating and the environment was very lively. Charming interior and beautifully decorated exterior. The closest feeling you can get to a European getaway in Hoboken!

Had such high expectations and really wanted to love it, but the food was average. We felt everything was overcooked, the octopus especially, but also the shrimp, the breaded chicken, and the steak. The sides, drinks, and desserts were awesome!! But the entrees needed some work especially for the price! Loved our waitress and the overall vibe.
